Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island
The Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island reaches more than 8,000 students and adults through our Environmental Education and Summer Camp programs. Our Environmental Education Program provides biological and environmental education opportunities for school groups, while Summer Camp provides Georgia 4-H agents and campers an unforgettable 5-day learning adventure.
Homeschool Club Winter 2014
Plan for special classes in January 2014. RSVP by telephone 912-786-5534 or email to David Weber (email@example.com) All children age 4 and up will be charged. Parents not charged but need to stay to help with supervision.
Monday, January 13th: 10:30 am to 11:45 am (shark class will go until noon)
Squid dissection for K-4th ($10.00 per child age 4 and up)
Shark dissection for 4th - 8th ($13.00 per child, extra charge for shark speciments)
Friday, January 17th:
Birds class Learn special features of birds through fun activities. Go birding with one of our expert staff around Tybee Island to various good spots. Different ages will all take birds class, but we will divide children up into 2 groups by age. Activities will be age appropriate. Cost: $10.00 per child age 4 and up.

Facility Rentals for Girl/Boy Scouts, School or Church Groups, etc.
Your group can rent our dormitories or classroom space for a trip or conference on Tybee Island. You can also register for our hands-on environmental education classes or have food service in our dining hall. Click here for more information.
